FMCSA

The U.S. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration — the agency that registers and regulates commercial motor carriers and publishes the census, licensing and safety data.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is the arm of the U.S. Department of Transportation responsible for regulating commercial motor carriers and reducing crashes involving large trucks and buses.
